The tracks come from The secret of us and its deluxe version, which Abrams released in October

Gracie Abrams debuted as Saturday Night Live Musical guest with a song The secret of usas well as an additional track on the deluxe version of this album.

Abrams began with “That’s So True,” which he had performed during their Secret of Us tour, before recording it The secret of US Deluxe in October. “That’s So True” is one of four new tracks and three live versions of songs on the original album. (And apparently there’s a “very vulgar” version of it, the songwriter revealed to his friend and co-writer Audrey Hobert at Spotify’s “You’re Invited, I’m Sorry: An Evening with Gracie Abrams” event last month.) )

Abrams’ second appearance was “I Love You, I’m Sorry,” the third single from the June release of The secret of uswhich was generally well received.

“The folk-pop LP is a real showcase for Abrams’ songwriting, exacerbating some of the clichés and youthful metaphors of her debut,” he said Rolling Stone wrote in a review, referencing Gracie’s first album, 2023’s Good riddance. This album received nominations for the Abrams Grammy and MTV Video Music Awards for Best New Artist.

At next year’s Grammys, Abrams is nominated for best pop duo for “Us.” Also from The secret of usIt stars Taylor Swift, who Abrams opened for on the recent Eras Tour.

Earlier this week, Abrams announced a tour in support of her latest album. After visiting Europe and Asia early next year, she launches a series of shows in North America in July.
