What is Project Blue Beam? Amid mass drone sightings, Donald Trump adviser Charlie Kirk issues a serious warning to Americans – The Week

Charlie Kirk, a close confidant of Donald Trump, warned Americans of a bizarre government conspiracy as drones are spotted across the country.

When he went to X, Kirk said American was screwed and claimed that the drones were part of Project Blue Beam. “We’re screwed. The drones are Project Blue Beam.”

He urged his followers to look for videos showing drones transforming from balls of light into airplanes, saying the government was not investigating the matter. “Whatever you see in the coming days, it is not good,” he added.

What is Project Blue Beam?

Dating back to the 1990s, Project Blue Beam is a conspiracy theory that has resurfaced in the wake of recent drone sightings. It is alleged that the government is using advanced holographic technology to stage celestial events or alien invasions.

Proponents of the theory claim that the government wants to manipulate the world’s population and establish an authoritarian one-world government.

Joe Biden’s administration has yet to provide an explanation for the mysterious drone sightings that sparked conspiracy theories. Following this, US President-elect Trump called for urgent action.

On Truth Social, Trump asked if the mysterious drone sightings are happening without the government’s knowledge. “Let the public know, immediately. Otherwise, shoot them!” he added.

His comments were echoed by other House Republicans, including New Jersey Rep. Chris Smith, Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, Tennessee Rep. Tim Burchett and Florida Rep. Anna Paulina Luna.

Luna said if the objects could not be identified, there should be no reason not to shoot them. “What happened with the Chinese spy balloon should never happen again. I trust President Trump will take decisive action to prevent this!” she added.

Most drone sightings were reported in New Jersey, while New York, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania also recorded similar incidents. Additionally, there have been reports of mysterious aircraft being discovered in California and Washington, DC

An Iranian ship was reportedly spotted off the coast of New Jersey a few days before the first drone was discovered on November 18. Republican Congressman Jeff Van Drew suggested that China or Iran could be behind the drones.

Although the Pentagon denied any threat to national security or involvement of any other country, it offered no explanation for the sightings. Pentago also reiterated that the unmanned aerial systems did not belong to the US military.

Around 5,000 drone sightings have been reported to federal authorities, including the FBI. An FBI official said fewer than 100 of those reported sightings were worthy of investigation.
