The Bay Area is expected to see mostly sunny to cloudy skies during the day on Sunday, but there will be more rain early Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

Daytime high temperatures will mostly be in the high 50s to low 60s on the coast, low to high 50s around the bay, and low to high 60s inland.

A freeze warning is in effect for the entire area until 9 a.m., and a flood warning is in effect until noon near Santa Rosa and the Bayshore coast. A coastal flood warning for tidal flooding in low-lying areas along San Francisco and San Pablo Bays remains in effect through Monday.

Overnight lows will mostly be in the high 30s to mid 40s. The North Bay and possibly San Francisco and the Peninsula will see rain in the early commute hours around 8 a.m

The heaviest rain is expected to be around 10 or 11 a.m. By midday the heaviest rain will have moved east, but there could be a few more scattered showers during the afternoon, particularly in the North Bay and Inland East Bay communities.
