Miami Dolphins (+3) over HOUSTON TEXANS

This game won’t be played in 40-degree temperatures, so we don’t have to worry about the Dolphins getting softer than Charmin.

Miami needs a win to stay in playoff contention and its offense is clicking, making it a true underdog in Houston.

We also take into account that the Texans are hard to trust right now behind inconsistent second-year QB CJ Stroud.

Houston’s last five games included losses to the Jets and Titans, a big lead against the Lions and a narrow win against the Jaguars in Week 13.

The Texans didn’t play well at home either, going 4-2 and winning by six, four and twice by three points.

This feels like a close game that will come down to a field goal and we’ll be going against the underdog who we think can pull out the win.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+3) over LOS ANGELES CHARGERS

Both teams are banged up, but we believe the Buccaneers offense can keep this game close or even win.

The Chargers have overperformed this season, but they’re without RB JK Dobbins and TE Will Dissly, star rookie Ladd McConkey was out last week with an injury, and, oh yeah, Justin Herbert is a bit banged up.

Los Angeles is also in a bit of an offensive crisis, having only scored 17 points in each of the last two games.

Betting on the NFL?

Tampa Bay has now scored at least 20 goals in all but one game.

The Bucs’ defense is a concern, but the hope is that their offense can make enough plays.

The Chargers’ once-vaunted defense has also deteriorated recently when playing against tougher teams.

LAST WEEK: 0-2. Hawks (L), Saints (L).

SEASON: 10-18.
