Jets at Jaguars: How to watch, odds, expert tips with New York as the rare away favorite

The New York Jets keep finding new ways to lose games. The Jacksonville Jaguars have been bottom feeders all year. These 3-10 teams will play for self-esteem and draft position on Sunday, with Aaron Rodgers’ team favored away from home.

Here’s how to watch Jets at Jaguars

First, a few green and teal vistas of two disastrous seasons. This Jets defense has held opponents under 100 rushing yards in every game since Halloween. Will McDonald IV has 10 sacks, good for fifth in the NFL, and Quinnen Williams still looks to be one of the best interior pass rushers in the sport. Additionally, Davante Adams caught touchdowns in two consecutive weeks.

The Jags are coming off a 10-6 win over Tennessee and young talent on the roster is having strong seasons. Rookie Brian Thomas Jr. is on pace to surpass 1,000 receiving yards and has at least 76 receiving yards in each of his last three appearances. Former No. 1 overall pick Travon Walker is nearing his second straight season with double-digit sacks.

That’s about it. Jacksonville ranks 26th in offensive rating and 28th in defense. Doug Pederson is in a perpetual hot seat. New York ranks 25th in points per game and has lost nine of its last 10. Robert Saleh was fired in early October and GM Joe Douglas left the following month.

However, this game carries some weight. Both teams are in the running for the top pick in the 2025 draft.

Rodgers is 3-1 against the Jaguars in his career. The overall score started at 40.5, the lowest of Week 15.
