The rain and snow are coming to an end as the Hudson Valley heads into the weekend

The Winter Storm Warning for Western Ulster County continues through this evening warning of slippery conditions. It will snow a total of 2 to 5 inches in the valleys and up to 10-12 inches at higher elevations.

The rain and snow will end this evening with a slow clearing overnight. It will be colder with lows in the 30s. It feels like temperatures are in the 20s.


On Black Friday you can expect sun and clouds and the occasional cool breeze. Highs in the upper 40s.

This weekend will be dry and sunny, but it is the start of a cold spell. Temperatures will be about 10 degrees below normal through next week.

Highs will be around 40 and lows will be around 20. Right now our weather looks mostly dry during this time.

OVERNIGHT: Be careful of slippery roads. Clear skies and cold with northwest winds 5 to 15 mph. Lows in the 30s.


FRIDAY: Sun and clouds. Cool and windy at times with northwesterly winds. Highs will be in the mid to upper 40s. Clear and cold at night with lows in the 20s.

SATURDAY: Mostly sunny and cool with highs in the 40s. Lows in the 20s.

SUNDAY: Mostly sunny and cold with highs around 40 degrees. Lows in the 20s.

MONDAY: Mostly sunny and still cold with maximum temperatures around 40°C. Lowest temperatures are around 20°C.

TUESDAY: Sun and clouds. Highs near 40. Lows in the 20s.
