Bills three starters in the Lions’ secondary vs. high-powered offense (Inactives)

The Buffalo Bills will have to get creative to slow the Detroit Lions’ offense on Sunday as the team is shorthanded on the back end of their defense.

Buffalo will be without three starters in the secondary at Ford Field as cornerback Rasul Douglas (knee), safety Taylor Rapp (neck/shoulder) and safety Damar Hamlin (back/ribs) are all inactive for today’s game. Buffalo ruled Douglas out on Friday, but Rapp and Hamlin were both listed as questionable for today’s game.

Although the team will be shorthanded on defense, Buffalo will have two starters back on offense. Wide receiver Keon Coleman and tight end Dalton Kincaid will both return from injuries for today’s game.

Here is Buffalo’s entire inactive list for today’s game.

  • CB Rasul Douglas
  • S Taylor Rapp
  • S Damar Hamlin
  • QB Mike White
  • LB Edefuan Ulofoshio
  • DT Quinton Jefferson
  • DE Casey Toohill

The Lions have been badly hit in recent weeks, but are heading into today’s game relatively healthy. Linebacker Trevor Nowaske (concussion) was the only player out before today’s match. Detroit will also bring back DE Josh Paschal, DT DJ Reader, DT Levi Onwuzurike, DT Alim McNeill and LT Taylor Decker for today’s game.

Here is the Lions’ inactive list for today’s game:

  • LB Trevor Nowaske
  • CB Emmanuel Moseley
  • OL Giovanni Manu
  • DL Myles Adams
  • OL Kayode Awosika
  • OL Colby Sorsdal
  • DL Broderic Martin
