Davante Adams becomes the 12th player in NFL history to score 100 TDs in his career

He didn’t reach the century mark while wearing the green and gold, but former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams – a 2014 draft pick who spent eight seasons in Green Bay – caught his 100th on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars .touchdown pass in his career.

Fittingly, Adams caught the pass from Aaron Rodgers, his quarterback for all eight seasons in Green Bay.

Adams, who scored 73 of his touchdowns with the Packers, is the 12th player in NFL history to reach 100 career touchdown catches. He joined Tim Brown and Steve Largent – two Pro Football Hall of Famers – in a three-way tie for 10th all-time.

Here is Adams’ 100th career touchdown catch:

Adams only needed 161 games to reach 100 touchdowns. Since leaving Green Bay after the 2021 season, Adams has scored 27 touchdowns in 45 games for the Raiders and Jets.

The Packers made Adams with the 53rd overall pick in the 2014 draft. He made five Pro Bowl teams from 2017 to 2021, and in 2021 he led the NFL in touchdown catches (18) while with the Packers.

Of the 11 players with 100 or more touchdowns, eight are currently in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and at least two more – Larry Fitzgerald and Antonio Gates – are likely to join at some point. Mike Evans has scored 101 touchdowns in his career and is currently the active leader.

Don Hutson, a Hall of Famer for the Packers, caught 99 touchdown passes in his career.
