The Kansas City Chiefs posted a 21-7 victory over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.

Quick six from Patrick Mahomes to JuJu Smith-Schuster

Three plays after the fumble, wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster pointed behind the line of scrimmage to find a wide open lane in the right flat. Patrick Mahomes beat him brilliantly, ensuring the easy score and the early lead.

Bryan Cook grabs the interception in the end zone.

Kansas City knew Browns quarterback Jameis Winston wouldn’t be afraid to vent, and he did so on this play all the way to the end zone. Safety Bryan Cook sprints down the field and timed his jump perfectly for the team’s seventh interception of the season.

In 2024, that simply wasn’t the case anymore, as Mahomes had all the time in the world to wait for a pass catcher to bust out in the end zone. Tight end Noah Gray broke free from defenders and Mahomes found him for the easy hit.

Nick Bolton returns the ball to the Chiefs.

That interception wasn’t Winston’s fault. The ball hits running back Nick Chubb in the hands, but he bounces it up, allowing linebacker Nick Bolton to bring the ball down mid-tackle.

Xavier Worthy gets into the end zone.

Mahomes’ fantasy owners are unhappy because the official scorers decided so hurry A touchdown for rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy. Worthy has been used a lot lately and is rewarded here with a touchdown play on the sideline.

Cornerback Trent McDuffie needed 48 career games (including playoffs), but Winston was exactly what the doctor ordered when it came to getting his first interception.
