Another Bills win would give Josh Allen another NFL record

When the Buffalo Bills selected Josh Allen with their top pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, few could have imagined the player he has since become for the Bills. Allen has achieved a lot of statistical innovations and broken records in his seven-year career so far. Unfortunately, many outside of Bills Mafia won’t give him the respect he deserves until he earns MVP awards and, more importantly, wins the Super Bowl. However, we will not stop promoting him and today he has the chance to add another achievement to his resume.

The Bills have the opportunity to pick up their 11th win of the season, which would make Allen the most wins by a quarterback in his first seven seasons. This is more about how successful the team has been since he arrived, and it’s also a milestone for coach McDermott. This year’s team is off to its best start in decades, and players have said things are just different between players and in the locker room.

While Allen’s accolades are laudable, it is often assumed that without a Super Bowl victory he will not receive the widespread respect and recognition as one of the greats at his position from fans outside the Bills fan base and numerous national media outlets. Speaking of accolades, Allen needs 13 more touchdowns to extend his record of consecutive seasons with over 40 touchdowns in a season, which currently stands at four. However, he could be difficult to get as there is a real possibility that he plays little or not at all in the final week of the season.

Back to this week’s action: The Bills travel to the West Coast to take on the Rams and it will be a challenge to get a win. Despite the Rams’ 6-6 record, their talent is undeniable. Still, I’m confident Buffalo will come back with another win, as I boldly predicted in my latest prediction. I expect a win for Buffalo and a loss for the Chiefs, which would put Buffalo at the top of the AFC playoffs.
