The Lions lose two defensive backs in the high-scoring first half against the Bills

DETROIT – The Detroit Lions are having a hard time slowing down Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. They will have to try to keep up in the second half without two cornerbacks, including a veteran starter.

Khalil Dorsey was sent off after suffering a serious leg injury late in the second quarter. The entire sideline came onto the field to check on Dorsey as he was loaded onto the cart and carried off the field. He is out with an ankle injury.

Lions cornerback Carlton Davis III is also out with a jaw injury. He was also evaluated under concussion protocol after entering the blue medical tent.

At halftime in Detroit, the Lions trailed the Bills 21-14. They fell into a 14-0 hole and did their best to come back in this potential Super Bowl preview.
