Parade of Lights in San Diego

  • December 15 in San Diego Bay.
  • The popular event attracts thousands to the bay every year.
  • The procession begins at 5:30 p.m. on Shelter Island.
  • The theme of the boat parade is “Peace on Earth”.

Santacon

  • Dec. 14 at Belmont Park.
  • The event runs from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and combines the holidays with an electronic dance music festival and much more!
  • Headliners include Yung Joc and Whethan.

Concerts by the Spreckels Organ Society

  • December 14th and 15th at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion in the heart of Balboa Park.
  • The Christmas concert will take place on December 14th at 5:30 p.m. with acclaimed soprano Alisa Jordheim and the San Diego Opera Chorus
  • The annual Holiday Singing will take place on December 15th at 2:00 p.m

San Diego Gay Men’s Chorus presents “Jingle”

  • Dec. 14 and 15 at the Balboa Theater.
  • Concert on December 14th at 7 p.m., concert on December 15th at 3 p.m
  • Visitors will hear big band arrangements reminiscent of legends like Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr.
