Girlfriend of ex-Steelers quarterback gives halftime show at Cowboys-Giants game

Lainey Wilson will be in the spotlight at the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants game on Thursday. During halftime, she will perform at AT&T Stadium as part of the NFL’s halftime entertainment for its annual Thanksgiving slate.

Watching from Dallas is her boyfriend, former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Devlin “Duck” Hodges, who has been seen with Wilson not only at appearances but also on the red carpet at awards shows.

Hodges, 28, went undrafted by Samford in 2019 and signed with the Steelers as a free agent. He was with the team until 2020 and made several starts. He signed with the Rams in 2021 and also played with the Ottawa Redblacks of the Canadian Football League in 2021 before ending his career.

He now works in real estate and coaching on the side while supporting Wilson. Hodges is best known for his 2019 season in which he helped the Steelers weather the wave after Ben Roethlisberger was sidelined that season with an elbow injury.

Wilson has won nine CMA awards for her rapid rise up the charts. She took home five trophies in 2023 and was named Female Vocalist of the Year in 2024, her third consecutive win.
