The Dallas Mavericks (16-9) face the Golden State Warriors (14-10) after both teams lost in the NBA Cup quarterfinals.

The impromptu game between the Mavs and Warriors was added to ensure that all teams have an even 82 games at the end of the season – except for the NBA Cup finalists, who will play 83.
