Owen Wilson proved this weekend that he is the hype man we all need.

The “Wedding Crashers” actor made an unexpected appearance during rapper Travis Scott’s rain-soaked set at Rolling Loud on Saturday, according to video footage from the Miami music festival.

Wilson came on stage during Scott’s 2023 track “FE!N,” sending the crowd into a frenzy when he exclaimed, “I’m looking for more!” to help start the song’s performance.

In footage posted to social media, Wilson can be seen jumping around and pumping his fists in the air during the high-energy song, which appeared to involve pyrotechnic effects.

While one wouldn’t normally expect a comedic actor like Wilson to make a cameo on the Rolling Loud stage, his appearance may not be quite as random as it seems.

According to a press release from Live Nation Productions, one of the film’s production companies, Wilson is set to star in an upcoming film about the famous music festival.

According to Deadline, the actor’s appearance during Scott’s set on Saturday was for a scene in the film.

CNN has reached out to representatives for Wilson for comment.

Scott celebrated Wilson’s appearance on stage, writing in an Instagram Story post that the moment “made my day.” Scott, clearly a fan of Wilson’s work, also posted a second photo showing the movie poster for the 1996 classic “Bottle Rocket,” in which Wilson stars alongside his brother Luke Wilson.

Comedian Matt Rife will also star in the film, billed as an R-rated comedy about a father-son duo who have a chaotic adventure while attending the music festival celebrating its 10th anniversary. Jeremy Garelick is the writer and director of the film, which is scheduled to hit theaters next year.

All we can say is: Wow.
