Squid Game fans are all saying the same thing as Netflix releases a “scary” trailer for season two

Squid Game fans are all in agreement after Netflix released the main trailer for the second season of the dystopian thriller.

The trailer begins with a new group of players being recruited into the twisted game before the winner of the last Squid Game, Seong Gi-hun, played by Lee Jung-jae, appears on screen.

In the backseat of a car, Gi-hun sits across from a golden pig-shaped speaker that creepily asks him, “Player 456. What do you want from me?”

To which he replies: “Put me back in the game.”

As the new game begins, we see the fresh faces of excited new players, very different from the worn and vengeful face of Gi-hun.

Some fans have noticed that a character who was assumed to have died in the first season has returned.

Jun-ho, played by Wi Ha-jun, was the determined police officer who was determined to find his brother In-ho and expose the games to the authorities.

He was presumed dead in episode eight when he fell off a cliff after his brother shot him in the shoulder upon discovering that his missing brother was actually the game’s masked frontman.

However, Jun-ho can be seen in the trailer, crouching in a forest with a gun at the ready, along with other officers.

In one eerie clip, he tricks one of the game’s masked henchmen by playing dead, but when the worker checks his pulse, Gi-hun’s eyes widen.

But fans found one particular part of the trailer to be particularly “cringe-worthy.”

In what looks like the start of a powerful uprising, the players chant, “One more game!”

Fans who have been waiting for the second season since the success of the first one almost three years ago couldn’t wait to discuss their thoughts on the trailer in the YouTube comments section.

One wrote: “The “ONE MORE GAME!” singing gave me goosebumps even after watching the trailer once.

“I realized that Gi-hun is addicted to gambling and that’s why he was invited to play earlier since he was a nobody.”

“Now he is here not because he wants to win the prize, but because he wants to help the struggling people who were in a similar status to him.”

A second fan agreed, writing: “The ‘ONE MORE GAME!’ part of the trailers always gives me goosebumps.”

“Season two is going to be great!” “So hyped,” another commented.

A fourth said: “So excited for another season of Squid Game!” Really excited to see what happens next.

“And it looks like Gi Hun is out there to actually stop the game’s entire mysterious organization!”

“We’ll also see a lot more action, which is great!” I’m so excited about it and can’t wait to see it in December! The Christmas holidays will be a great time!’

Squid Game season 2 premieres worldwide on Netflix on December 26th.
