Near record-breaking warmth Monday in central Indiana

The warm temperatures bring extensive rain showers in the morning.

The highlight of the warm-up

The warm-up continues, with temperatures in the upper 50s on Sunday and unlikely to drop much overnight. Highs may exceed 60 degrees on Monday before the cold air returns

Patchy fog and drizzle are expected overnight. Lows in the upper 40s.


Rainy Monday

Rain is expected across most of central Indiana Monday morning and temperatures will remain very mild.

Rain will taper off north of Indianapolis in the afternoon, but may continue throughout the day in southern Indiana.

Although temperatures will be well above average, we probably won’t see a record in Indianapolis. The record high temperature on Monday is 65 degrees.

Temperatures on Monday evening will drop below 30°C.


The temperatures are falling

It will get a little colder every day for the rest of the week. Highs will be in the 40s on Tuesday and Wednesday, with a risk of showers Wednesday morning.

Temperatures will not exceed the 30s on Thursday and Friday.

Cold end of the week

From Friday to Saturday temperatures will barely rise above freezing.

There is a chance of morning snow showers on Friday.
