Snow, cold and vacation travel

This will be the week of weak clipper systems. It will continue to snow lightly tonight. Winds will continue to be blustery but temperatures will remain milder. There is a chance of light snow this week. There will be heavier snowfall on Thursday, with 4 to 6 inches in central Minnesota and Wisconsin and smaller amounts elsewhere. Currently, the total amount and location of snowfall is unclear. Another quick round of snow is possible this weekend. Every snowfall brings gusty winds. Temperatures will also drop midweek through the end of the week, but are expected to rise again on Monday.

Mostly cloudy, with a low around 18. Windy, with a northwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.
TUESDAY
Mostly cloudy, with a constant temperature around 21 degrees. Stormy, with a northwest wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts up to 25 mph.
WEDNESDAY
Partly sunny, with a high around 16. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
THURSDAY
Snow. High near 20. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming north in the afternoon. Wind gusts could reach up to 20 miles per hour. Snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.
FRIDAY
Mostly sunny, with a high around 12. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.
SATURDAY
Mostly sunny, with a high around 13. North wind around 5 mph.
SUNDAY
Partly sunny, with a high near 19. South wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.
MONDAY
A slight chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 27. South wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.
