Where does Star Wars: Skeleton Crew fit into the Star Wars timeline?

It’s easy to forget that the Star Wars we’ve seen since director George Lucas’s first film hit the screen in 1977 actually happened a long time ago – in the sense of “long ago” and Time doesn’t lie in the distant future, despite the futuristic spaceships and lightsabers.

This may seem completely obvious to most fans, but it’s worth mentioning as we delve into the timeline of Disney+’s Star Wars: Skeleton Crew to flesh out the calendar and find out where the misadventures of Wim, Fern, Neel, KB and Jod Na Nawood happen treasure and space pirates fall into the overarching “Star Wars” timeline. With all the prequels, sequels, and spin-offs seemingly popping up in theaters and on the Disney+ streaming platform, it can be confusing to compile the material into a consistent calendar that can be quickly determined.

For the impatient, the quick answer is: Skeleton crew“is introduced in a time frame after “Return of the Jedi.”. Although the Skeleton Crew’s protected planet Attin appears to be in some sort of time warp, having been shielded from the rest of the galaxy by a shimmering barrier far, far away, it still exists within the general framework of the fictional universe depicted in ” Star Wars” films, television shows, novels, comics and video games. Also, let’s remember that our Starlost children come from an ancient planet that strangely still uses gold Old Republic credits as currency.
