Artist Mike Clark Jr. remixes hit to win Northeast High championship

Macon, Ga. (WGXA) – “It feels really good to come back and show some love to my old school.” – Mike Clark Jr.

Mike Clark Jr. is back where it all began. The artist, known for his hit song “Auntie Outside,” has released a remix titled “Raiders Outside Tonight” – a tribute to his alma mater, Northeast High School.

“It’s time to do it. Go ahead and load up the kids, pack your bags, we’re going to the Benz,” Clark said, calling on the community to support the school in its preparations for a major championship game.

It all started with a Facebook post from a local community member. Clark was moved by the idea and knew he had to go for it. He and his team wasted no time. “When I saw the post, me and my managers immediately got together and went into the studio that same day and got it done.”

And the result? A hit. The new remix is already echoing through the halls of the school that Clark himself once walked through. The music isn’t just a tribute – it’s a call to action for his community that Clark believes will help the team win.

“I think they can win the championship too, man,” Clark shared. “You just have to stay disciplined, stay down and bring home the trophy.”

Clark strongly believes that community support is vital to the team’s success. “People just really need support. The boys are doing something good. Nothing serious. Just come out, support and show love.”

And the support didn’t stop with the music. On Wednesday, players received free haircuts as a motivational boost before the big game. Clark’s goal is clear: to inspire his old school to victory.

“I love the East Side, man,” he said, speaking proudly about the community that shaped him.

Clark also hinted at his next step: He hopes to perform at halftime of next Tuesday’s championship game and make the event a celebration of his roots and the team’s hard work.
