Michele Morrone Joins Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried in ‘The Housemaid’

EXCLUSIVE: 365 days Italian star Michele Morrone will add that special touch to Lionsgate’s thriller The housemaid by Paul Feig.

It’s a reteam for Morrone, who already stars in “Feig’s.” A simple favor 2 Consequence.

The Calabrian multi-hyphenate joins Sydney Sweeney, Amanda Seyfried and Brandon Sklenar for the Paul Feig-directed film, which is produced by Hidden Pictures/Feigco Entertainment.

In the Rebecca Sonnenshine adaptation of Freida McFadden’s novel, Sweeney plays Millie, a troubled young woman relieved to get a fresh start as a housemaid for Nina (Seyfried) and Andrew (Sklenar), an upscale, wealthy couple start. She soon learns that the family’s secrets are far more dangerous than her own.

Morrone plays Massimo Torricelli in the Italian Netflix film 365 daysa member of the Sicilian Mafia family. He kidnaps Laura, a sales manager, and gives her 365 days to fall in love with him. The 2020 film spawned two sequels, 365 days: This day And The next 365 days.

Morrone also has the film “James Franco and Bella Thorne” coming up Rabbit man and Bobby Morescos Maserati: The Brothers in which he plays Alfieri Il Maserati alongside Anthony Hopkins, Andy Garcia and Jessica Alba.

Todd Lieberman of Hidden Pictures will produce. Carly Kleinbart Elter will oversee the project for Hidden Pictures. Paul Feig and Laura Fischer of Feigco also produce. Sweeney and Seyfried are EPs alongside Alex Young and McFadden.

Chelsea Kujawa and Erin Jones-Wesley oversee Lionsgate. Phil Strina negotiated the studio contracts.

Morrone is represented by Ascend Artist Representation and Gang, Tire, Ramer, Brown & Passman.
