Nevada Weather Outlook: Warmer temperatures are expected in Las Vegas and Barstow this week

Las Vegas, NV – Southern Nevadans can expect above-average temperatures this week, with increasing cloud cover and calm winds starting today. Areas like Las Vegas, Barstow and Kingman will see high temperatures in the mid-60s, while Lake Havasu City could reach a balmy 70 degrees.

According to the National Weather Service, increasing clouds will move over Las Vegas on Monday, with the high temperature hovering around 61 degrees. The wind remains calm and creates ideal conditions for outdoor activities. Tonight the sky will be partly cloudy and temperatures will drop to around 42 degrees, making for a cool but mild evening.

On Tuesday, sunny weather conditions will dominate with high temperatures of up to 68 degrees in Las Vegas and the surrounding area. Residents can expect mostly clear skies Tuesday evening with light northwest winds of 5 to 7 mph and lows around 45 degrees.

Wednesday and Thursday will bring persistent sunshine and dry conditions, with high temperatures in the mid to upper 60s across southern Nevada. Areas like Kingman and Barstow also experience similar weather, providing a pleasant change from the typical December cold.

The week ends Friday with high temperatures near 67 degrees, sunny skies and mostly calm winds, creating favorable conditions for commuters and travelers.

Local authorities are advising residents to take advantage of the unseasonably warm weather while planning for potentially cooler nights. Motorists along I-15 and US Route 95 should exercise caution in the evening hours as visibility may be slightly reduced under partly cloudy skies.
