Morgan Freeman enjoys an evening!

The 87-year-old actor made a rare appearance on Sunday, November 24, as he attended a dinner date with his loved ones in Los Angeles.

Freeman wore a checked button-down shirt, dark pants and a baseball cap as he was photographed outside celebrity-favorite Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi in the Santa Monica neighborhood.

The Oscar winner also wore a cream compression glove, which he used openly due to nerve damage he suffered in a car accident in 2008.

“It’s the fibromyalgia,” Freeman said esquire during an interview published in July 2012. “Up and down the arm. That’s where it gets so bad. Excruciating.”

Despite his limited public appearances, Freeman continues to act frequently and appeared in two films in 2024: My dead friend Zoe And gunner.

The actor will also appear in next year Now you see me 3as part of a star-studded cast that also includes Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Ariana Greenblatt, Lizzy Caplan, Isla Fisher, Rosamund Pike, Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa and Dave Franco.

While Lionsgate has not confirmed the official storyline for Now you see me 3the second film ended with a big reveal about the Eye’s leader, so it’s likely that the third film could pick up after that and show how the Four Horsemen (Eisenberg, 41, Harrelson, 63, Fisher, 48, and Franco, 39) have come to terms with their new roles in the secret society.

Filming for Now you see me 3 ended on November 18 with the caption on the films’ official Instagram account: “Your eyes don’t deceive you. That concludes the next episode of #NowYouSeeMe – which hits theaters on November 14, 2025. 🪄.”

Meanwhile, Freeman was recently with fellow film star Clint Eastwood in California as he presented his friend with an award at the 2024 Monterey Jazz Festival in late September.

Freeman and his producing partner Lori McCreary shared a photo of the actors posing together on Instagram on October 14, with Freeman writing, “It was my great pleasure to present my friend Clint Eastwood with the inaugural Clint Eastwood Award for Cultural Leadership.” @MontereyJazzFestival last weekend.

“Clint is a true musician: pianist, composer and jazz lover!” he continued in the caption. “We had a wonderful time listening to the incredible music of Kyle Eastwood and Mavis Staples!”

Freeman and Eastwood, 94, have a long history; The pair starred in Eastwood’s 1992 Western Unforgivableand they reunited on screen in Eastwood’s 2004 boxing drama Million Dollar Baby. In 2009, Eastwood directed Freeman again Invictusin which Freeman portrayed the late South African President Nelson Mandela.
