“I feel very, very happy,” the actress said of her relationship with Jost, whom she married in 2020

It sounds like there’s never a dull moment in Scarlett Johansson and husband Colin Jost’s relationship.

Published on Live with Kelly and Mark On Tuesday, November 26, the actress gushed while discussing her skincare line, The Outset Saturday Night Live star, 42, as she shared that he threw her a “huge party” for her 40th birthday earlier this month.

“He’s a good guy…He’s a very, very, very great guy. I’m very lucky. He’s a kind person, he’s hilarious, considerate and loving, and he’s a great father, and I love him. I feel very, very lucky,” Johansson said, before highlighting one of Jost’s other qualities. “But he also has his cheeky side. He keeps it interesting.”

“How’s the boat?” co-host Mark Consuelos then asked, referring to Jost and his ex SNL Co-star Pete Davidson bought a Staten Island Ferry for $280,000 in 2022.

“That’s the naughty part I was talking about,” Johansson replied. “He bought the Staten Island Ferry. A disused Staten Island ferry. And it is, yes, still shut down.”

“They actually did it – I was like, ‘What’s wrong with this boat?’ It needs to at least start paying its own docking fees!’ That’s why there was the Tommy Hilfiger fashion show on the Staten Island Ferry this year!” she continued.

“I thought, ‘Fashion people come to Staten Island by ferry? What happens to the bathrooms? Surely you have renovated the bathrooms? Johansson explained. “And he said, ‘No, I don’t actually know…’ You can still see it, you can basically see everyone from the chest to the knee down in the toilets. It’s like in elementary school. So I thought, ‘I can’t wait to hear how this goes…'”

“Well, it would be exciting to see Anna Wintour in the bathroom on the Staten Island Ferry,” co-host Kelly Ripa joked.

“It was still a great success! Huge success!” continued Johansson. “So if someone wants to throw a bat mitzvah, go to rentaferry.com. It will make our family really happy.”

“Is this real?” Ripa asked the website:

“No, I have to do that now,” Johansson, 54, joked.

Speaking to PEOPLE about Hilfiger, 73, hosting his SS25 show on the ferry during New York Fashion Week in September, Jost called the moment “very surreal.”

“I thought Tommy and everyone who organized the event did a really great job,” Jost told PEOPLE on the ferry. “While I was watching the show, I said it almost looks like (the ferry) was built for something like this, the way the seats are laid out and the way people move move on the deck.”

He and Johansson married in 2020 after first becoming romantically involved in 2017. They have one child together, son Cosmo, 3. Johansson is also mother to daughter Rose, 10, whom she shares with her ex-husband Romain Dauriac.

Johansson shared another glimpse into the party Jost threw for her to celebrate her milestone birthday, Johansson shared Live with Kelly and Mark“It was a surprise. And I had all the martinis for everyone and I can’t wait to see the photos so I can remember the evening. It was like, “This is your life.” So many of my friends and colleagues came from all over the place and it was just magical. And he put it all together!”

“He’s very good at giving gifts,” Johansson added. “He always buys nice jewelry.”
