There’s more than one new Marvel show on Disney Plus this month

2024 was a good year to be a Marvel fan. Marvel Studios made a massive comeback with a cinematic phenomenon Deadpool and Wolverine (which became the second highest-grossing film this year), a Golden Globe-nominated and critically acclaimed Disney Plus series Agatha all the timeEmmy-nominated and celebrated X Men ’97and the fan-favorite epic echo. Sony has now delivered three entries into its own Marvel universe Madam Web, Venom: The Last DanceAnd Kraven the Hunter.

While these three films have been the subject of much debate, Poison 3 The film definitely caused a lot of buzz and ended the trilogy on an entertaining note, reinforcing the fact that it’s a great year for Marvel fans.

The good news is that there will be more Marvel adventures before the end of the year. You probably know that What if…? Season 3 is just around the corner, but it’s not the only Marvel series coming to the Disney Plus streamer this month.

What if…? Season 3 and Spidey And His Amazing Friends arrive on Disney Plus this month

It’s true. The third and final season of Marvel’s What if…? will premiere on Disney Plus this holiday season, with the first episode dropping on Sunday, December 22nd. A new episode will then premiere every day for the next seven days (just like last year), keeping us all entertained throughout the holiday season. However, if you don’t want to wait until the holidays for some animated Marvel adventures, you’ll be happy to know this What if…? Season 3 isn’t the only Marvel show you can watch on the streamer.

New episodes of the third season of Spidey and his amazing friends It’s also available on Disney Plus this month and premieres on December 4th with all five episodes. Yes, that means you can dive right in and catch up on all the adventures of the popular kid-friendly series. In fact, there’s even a Christmas episode you can watch. That’s right, the latest episode of the series added to the streamer is a special double adventure consisting of the episodes “A Snow Day For Aunt May” and “Hanukkah Heist.”

Spidey and his amazing friends may not be set in the MCU, but it is being produced by Marvel Studios Animation (and has been since season two) to air on Disney Jr. ahead of its global release on Disney Plus. These new episodes initially aired on Disney Jr. throughout the fall and are now available to watch on the streamer for the remainder of the season.

So if you’re up for some of Spider-Man’s most entertaining adventures, you can check out the new episodes of this adventure. And it will surely be useful for Spider-Man fans because it will keep them all entertained while they eagerly wait for the upcoming new animated series Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man (which premieres on the Disney Plus platform on January 29, 2025). The film, also produced by Marvel Studios Animation, borders on the MCU and shows us Peter Parker’s early years as a webslinger.
