Fox News host Harris Faulkner seemed incredibly impressed on Wednesday by the new hairstyle that Donald Trump unveiled at Mar-a-Lago this week, joking that it was the “wind of victory” and that it showed that he relying “on the victory” of his election.

On Tuesday, a video circulated on social media in which the president-elect appears to be wearing a different hairstyle. In the clip, taken at Trump’s Palm Beach Club, the new president appears to have just played a round of golf and is holding a Make America Great Again baseball cap as he greets his supporters.

What caught social media’s attention was that rather than his signature hairsprayed gold coif, Trump’s hair looked slicked back into a mullet. While many observers suspected this was just because he wore a hat while playing 18 holes, others wondered if he had actually changed his famous behavior.

During Wednesday’s broadcast of the Fox News midday roundtable show OutnumberedThe panelists decided to debate whether this was a case of Trump debuting a new haircut or whether it was just a case of hat hair.

Co-host Emily Compagno noted that Trump has maintained “the same iconic hairstyle” since the 1980s, claiming it ranks alongside Elvis Presley and Farrah Fawcett as “one of the most iconic haircuts in history.” She then asked the other hosts what they thought happened to the president-elect’s hair this week.

“He didn’t have access to a mirror. I think he will be embarrassed. It doesn’t look bad, but it’s not a new hairstyle. “It’s not like he got the Rachel,” noted former MTV VJ Lisa “Kennedy” Montgomery, referring to the style made famous by Jennifer Aniston in the 1990s.

“What is Rachel?” Faulkner wondered, prompting Kennedy to explain that it was from the hit series Friends.

“Oh yeah! Actually, I haven’t seen the show, but I remember her hair,” Faulkner responded.

After Compagno exclaimed that Trump was “a golfer” and that his hairstyle was the result of wearing a hat, Faulkner jumped in to give her his take on Trump’s new look.

“They are the winds of victory,” she explained as Compagno yelped in agreement. “They’ve dialed back his performance and he’s leaning toward victory.”

Compagno added: “That’s right! Enjoy the wind of victory, President-elect!”

After the rest of the panel agreed that Trump was probably just dealing with hat hair, Faulkner commented on the popularity of MAGA caps.

“I mean, this man has probably sold more hats in the last few years than anyone else on the planet,” the veteran host announced. “Here, too, you thought a lot about the hat!”

Although Faulkner is ostensibly part of the conservative cable giant’s “Straight News” division, she has been vocal about her pro-Trump loyalties in recent years. Earlier this month, for example, Faulkner suggested that first lady Jill Biden flirted with Trump during a ceremony in Paris because “she’s attracted to power.”

Still, the Fox News host has at times dismissed the notion that she is partisan or biased, claiming she has “no dog in this race” between Trump and Kamala Harris and lambasting a guest for calling her “far-right.” to have.
