Survivor crowns Rachel LaMont as the winner of Season 47

A new sole survivor has claimed it $1 million in prize money.

During the final episode of SurvivorsThe two-part finale of season 47 on December 18th is a long-running hit reality Competition Series crowned hers newest champion.

At the beginning of the last episode of the season: Rachel LaMont, Sam Phalen, Sue Smey And Teeny Chirichillo were the last remaining members of the Beka tribe vying for the title, but ultimately it was Rachel, a graphic designer from Michigan, who took the victory.

“I feel like I’m having an out-of-body experience,” she said after her win. “It’s just so surreal,” before later adding: “I’m a bit shocked if I’m being completely honest.”

In the finale, Rachel broke through early by winning the final immunity challenge, giving her the most power she’s had all season at the game’s crucial point. Because of this advantage, she sent Teeny and Sam to the final physical challenge of the series: making a fire.

In the end, however, the fire-making challenge failed to impress the judges, with Rachel receiving all but one vote.

While the last episode of the finale was definitely full of excitement, there were frontrunners in the first half of the two-parter on December 11th Andy Rueda And Genevieve Mushaluk eliminated in shocking blindsides and laid the foundation for the path to victory.
