At the reunion, all but one couple returned to give fans an update on their lives.

In the season three finale, Caleb finally proposed to Mariah after gaining clarity about their relationship. And although Mariah was shocked and took a moment to respond in disbelief, she ultimately said yes.

“It’s so surreal at the moment. I can’t believe we’re engaged… This is what true happiness feels like,” Mariah said after the proposal. “This was truly the last piece I was missing, and knowing that I have such a strong man by my side through this makes me feel truly blessed.”

Upon reuniting, they confirmed that they are still engaged a year later and plan to tie the knot at a destination in the summer of 2026.

They also remained a united front, even though Aria (Caleb’s spouse in court) accused Caleb of liking her Instagram stories and blocking/unblocking her on social media after the engagement. Mariah later called out Caleb for insisting that his emotional connection to Aria was purely platonic, saying it was hurtful to watch it on camera.

“When I left the show, it was a moment to restart the build from a healthy starting point,” Caleb said. “When I left (the show), I had to take responsibility for my actions and really acknowledge who I became on it.”

Scotty and Aria had a tearful day reflecting on the “difficulties” and “doubts” they faced in the relationship. Calling it their “biggest triumph together as a couple,” Scotty then knelt and proposed to Aria.

“I choose you now, today and for all my tomorrows,” Scotty said. “Because you’re not just a woman I want to be with, you’re the woman I can’t be without.”

Aria agreed to his marriage proposal – but upon reunion they realized they were no longer together, and Aria called off the engagement just a day later. “I realized pretty quickly that I had made a mistake,” Aria said.

Despite their decision to continue being together afterward and “working through” their issues by attending couples therapy, Scotty and Aria ultimately were unable to find resolution. Aria also dropped the bombshell that her grandmother died during their breakup and she suffered a miscarriage.

“You don’t love me the way I want to be loved,” she said through tears, pointing out that she was tired of waiting and listening to Scotty’s excuses. “I’m not just giving up on the relationship because I don’t care, but because I’m tired and emotionally exhausted.”

Scotty, for his part, said he will “always be there for Aria” and apologized to her for his actions, even though he was clearly heartbroken by the breakup.

After a rollercoaster ride on the show, Sandy and Nick began proposal day with a state of uncertainty in their relationship – largely due to Nick’s behavior while Sandy was in her trial marriage with JR

Nick eventually revealed that he had a ring in his pocket, but Sandy stopped him before he could propose, noting that they still had “things we need to work out.” In the end, the two decided to go their separate ways without proposing in the finale.

“I came here to get answers. I feel like I got the answers I need. They’re not the answers I wanted. “It breaks my heart terribly,” Nick said afterwards.

During the reunion, Nick claimed that he didn’t really take the proposal seriously and had no intention of proposing. The two also confirmed that they are no longer together. Nick later revealed that Sandy helped him check into rehab after he started “drinking a lot” after the show, and Sandy shared that she felt “bombarded” by Nick’s behavior “every day” for the past year have.

“I’m really exhausted from my relationship with Nick,” Sandy said through tears, prompting Nick to confront the “emotionally aggressive energy” he had directed at Sandy.

“I’m sorry I screwed it up for you in any way,” Nick said.

Like Sandy and Nick, JR and Zaina also had a bumpy journey on the show. On the day of the proposal, JR praised Zaina for becoming “an amazing wife (and) mother” and said he imagines loving her and giving her everything he has.

But then he changed his attitude. “I can see all of that with you, and looking at myself now, I don’t think I’m at the point of giving you what you deserve,” he said before confirming he was leaving the show wanted to leave as single.

Upon reuniting, the two revealed that they were still separated despite Zaina initially trying to get back together. They also discussed their views on the timeline of their split and whether JR needed closure before Zaina revealed that JR had supposedly invited her to a birthday dinner but then canceled the evening and never rescheduled.

Zaina also criticized JR for “downplaying” the details of his trial marriage to Sandy, calling him “disgusting” when a video compilation was played of him making inappropriate comments and remarks to other cast members about how he was only for a “Hallpass” in the show.”

Today, both JR and Zaina are still single. JR said he is not dating anyone and is currently undergoing therapy, while Zaina said she is dating someone and recently froze her eggs to celebrate her 33rd birthday.

After Dave and Vanessa left the series at the start of the fourth episode, they returned for the Season 3 reunion. They confirmed they are still together and recently went ring shopping with a marriage proposal “coming soon.”

“It helped us move forward in a lot of ways,” Vanessa said, and Dave added: “It was very eye-opening for both of us to see that we were on the same page… I still 100% want to marry Vanessa, and that’s why.” Clear next step.”

The two also used the time at the reunion to discuss the reason for their early exit. Vanessa said that certain conversations with Nick and the lies he allegedly told, as well as the unresolved “trauma” he had in his life, made her feel “uncomfortable.”

“The first day I lived with you, it was like I went on 15 roller coasters with you, and I don’t know anyone who stayed on them,” Vanessa said, adding that she left without giving Nick any warning to give because “I don’t owe him anything.

(Editor’s note: Nick previously issued a statement to PEOPLE saying he was “surprised” by Vanessa’s claims on the show. “I was surprised by the negativity and contempt that I was shown,” he said in part “I acknowledged this and apologized.” On several occasions when she was uncomfortable with me being upset, she accepted my apology and made it clear that I was not the only reason she wanted to leave the show I sincerely wish you all the best hope they are happy I also hope they choose compassion rather than attacking the character of someone they only spent two intense, emotional days with.

Micah and Chanel left the show at the start of the fourth episode, along with Dave and Vanessa. They didn’t return for the reunion to shed light on the reason for their early departure, but according to their social media accounts, they appear to still be together.
