The Steam Winter Sale, one of the biggest events in PC gaming, will be back in 2024.

The Steam Winter Sale has a start date of December 19th and a start time of 6:00pm GMT UK. If you’re thinking about buying a full-price Steam game, it might be worth the wait.

Unlike the recent Fall Sale, the latest event lasts a full two weeks, meaning you can take advantage of all Steam and Steam Deck discounts until January 2nd.

And thanks to a newly released trailer further down the page, we already know some of the discounts available as part of the event.

As you can see from the trailer below, the Steam Winter Sale includes discounts on relatively new releases like Metal Slug Tactics.

This is in addition to discounts on Assassin’s Creed Mirage, CarX Street and sandbox survival game Core Keeper.

Fans can also expect discounts on blockbusters like Helldivers 2, Final Fantasy 16 and the surprise hit Manor Lords.

Colorful games like Castle Crashers and Planet Coaster 2 receive discounts, as does the unique TCG Card Shop Simulator.

Last year’s Game of the Year, Baldur’s Gate 3, is getting a discount, which is ideal if you have it on your wishlist.

Finally, there are discounts for games like The Last of Us Part 1 and the current platform remake Sonic X Shadow Generations.

Of course, some games were already discounted before the event began.

Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is reduced to £52.49 for the Standard Edition or £79.99 for the Vault Edition.

Other games currently available at a reduced price include God of War Ragnarok for £39.99. Don’t be surprised if LEGO Horizon Adventures also gets a price cut.

Fans can purchase the Mass Effect Legendary Edition for just £3.99 as it includes one of the best games of all time. This is an absolute bargain.

Many Resident Evil games have already been reduced, including Star Wars Jedi Survivor for £14.99 and Hades for £8.39.
