Minneapolis and parts of the Upper Midwest are expecting the heaviest snowfall of the season so far

A developing storm system is expected to bring the heaviest snowfall of the season for places such as: Minnesota And Wisconsin on Thursday, which led to some treacherous travel to end the work week.

Forecast models show an extended band of 3 to 6 inches Snow north of Interstate 94, which stretches from the Dakotas to Wisconsin. Some accumulation gauges could potentially reach 8 to 9 inches by then winter weather moves out of the region late Thursday evening.

Christmas Travel Forecast: Rain and snow likely cause delays for millions of people in the US

Millions of people across the U.S. are preparing to travel ahead of the busy holiday season, but there could be delays on the roads and at major airports that could impact when you can finally meet up with friends and family.

The FOX Forecast Center doesn’t expect blockbuster storms to bring holiday travel to a halt, but with rain and wintry weather continuing across the U.S., things could be a little slower over the next few days, particularly in the eastern U.S

The coldest air of the season so far is entering the northern United States just days before Christmas

A potent one winter The storm is sweeping across the north with bitter cold US This week brings some of the frigid temperatures of the season to the Great Lakes and Northeast.

The FOX Forecast Center said temperatures would drop sharply Saturday and Sunday, with highs expected to be nearly 20 degrees below average through early next week.

A man captured the hurricanes on Sunday while walking his three dogs in the middle of a forest Winter storm. The hurricanes were so fast that not even the dog noticed the fascinating phenomenon.

A Snow Devil or Snownado is a rare event in which a swirling column of snow is lifted into the air by the devil wind over a snow-covered surface.
