2024 Letters to Santa and Holiday Greetings – Pine and Lakes Echo Journal

2024 Letters to Santa and Holiday Greetings – Pine and Lakes Echo Journal

I felt like a little elf as I left Nisswa Elementary School early one December afternoon with the second-graders’ letters to Santa.

There was a manila envelope under my arm with the letters safely tucked away. On the outside of the envelope was the school’s return address – written in perfect teacher handwriting – with the following address: Mr. Santa Claus 123 Elf Road North Pole, 88888

I can assure you that Santa received the letters, but first we retyped them for your reading pleasure in our annual Season’s Greetings section.

On these pages you will find letters from second graders at Eagle View Elementary School, Pine River-Backus Elementary School, Nisswa Elementary School and Crosslake Community School. Two second-graders from Foothills Christian Academy in Backus shared, “What Christmas means to me.”

The letters are published as students wrote them, and we thank the teachers for joining us in this fun holiday project each year.

Have fun with the student letters and wish you all a Merry Christmas!
