Elden Ring (40% off)

At this point, there probably won’t be many of you who haven’t played Elden Ring yet. However, if it’s been on your to-do list for a while and the madness surrounding the Shadow of the Earthtree expansion has given you a little FOMO, now is a good time to pick up what is arguably the best Soulslike we have have ever seen. With a 40% discount, Elden Ring is available at its lowest Steam price ever.

State of Decay 2 (90% off)

This State of Decay 2 deal caught our attention and was by far the biggest Steam discount it has received since the advancement of the Juggernaut Expanded Edition. Although there have been some issues over the years, the State of Decay 2 you find today is more in line with the zombie gaming experience that fans have wanted and expected since the beginning. Although support for the game has now sadly ended as developer Undead Labs awaits State of Decay 3’s release date, it has been left in a polished, content-rich state and is definitely worth playing. Convince a few friends to pick it up while it’s under $3 and try it out together – it’s a blast.

Mansions (30% discount)

Part RTS game, part medieval city building game: Manor Lords is one of our favorite new games of 2024. Sure, it’s still in the early access phase and isn’t the finished product yet. But it’s an incredibly deep, challenging and addictive game that puts you in the shoes of a lord looking to build the next great kingdom. As you transform your quaint cottage village into a sprawling medieval metropolis, you’ll need to carefully plan your expansions using the authentic, gridless building system, skillfully balance your resources, and train an army to fend off the forces of rival lords. With a 30% discount in the Winter Sale, Manor Lords is now back on Steam for its lowest price ever.

Call of Duty Black Ops 6 (25% off)

It’s safe to say that despite their ability to attract millions of players each year, recent Call of Duty games haven’t been the memorable blockbusters that the series has produced in the past. However, with Black Ops 6 it has its mojo back. While BO6’s campaign isn’t a long-running hit, it does offer some surprising twists and lots of unique gameplay moments. As your adventure in the breathtaking fishing simulator Dredge begins with bobbing around a picturesque bay and catching mackerel, it soon turns into a twisted and heartbreaking horror game. When the sun comes up, the goal is to land lots of fish so you can pay to upgrade your boat and explore new places. However, in the darkness of the night, your only thought should be returning to the safety of your next port. Fearsome sea monsters lurk and punish you if you spend too long on the waves. This is one of our favorite indices over the last few years and is now at its lowest Steam price ever thanks to the winter sale.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition (92% off)

While the Mass Effect Legendary Edition is regularly available at a decent discount, it’s hard not to highlight it considering how much content you’re getting for so little of your hard-earned money. This isn’t just any old content either – we’re talking some of the best RPGs ever made, with some of the greatest characters and narratives in gaming history. If you’ve never played a Mass Effect game, or maybe you’ve only played a few in the past, get the Legendary Edition. At 92% off, costing just $4.79/£3.99, you won’t regret it.

The Outlast Trials (50% off)

Outlast has become one of the biggest names in horror, and this year’s The Outlast Trials doesn’t let the series down. With a great campaign, co-op modes that range from high-difficulty battles to bug-filled battlefests, and a strong roadmap of content to keep it going into the future, we can wholeheartedly recommend it – whether you’re already one Fan of this is the best Warhammer 40k games or not.

Sid Meier’s Civilization 6 (95% off)

While it may not be as revolutionary as some of the older games in the series (or the upcoming Civilization 7), Civilization 6 is still a brilliant and popular entry. In fact, every Civ game is worth your time.
