Week 16 Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Tips and Lineup Notes

NFL Week 16: Starting quarterbacks

The Arizona QB has played as a high-end fantasy QB2 this season. This week, you can use him as the No. 1 starter in a good matchup. Carolina is ranked 27thTh RBs are allowed in FFPG, and Murray will always have some advantage due to his speedy promise. I’m putting him ahead of other notable options like Jayden Daniels, Bo Nix and Patrick Mahomes in Week 16.

The 49ers passer was bogged down last week because of the weather, but those who use him should consider that performance when making fantasy lineup decisions. The advance projection in Miami doesn’t appear to be a major concern, and according to FantasyPros, Purdy finished as the fantasy QB1 in five of the last eight weeks. As the 49ers continue to struggle with RB injuries, Purdy and his receivers will have to take over the offense.

NFL Week 16: Starting Tight End

Over the course of the season, Strange has stepped up when called upon, and he did so in impressive fashion last week when he finished with a career-high 11 receptions for 73 yards. Las Vegas has allowed the fourth-most receptions to TEs this season. Unless you list a set-it-and-forget-it or a top-8 fantasy TE option like TJ Hockenson or Mark Andrews, Strange should be in the fantasy lineup by Week 16.

The Titans TE is a bold sleeper option in a good fantasy matchup against the Colts. Last week, Okonkwo caught eight of 10 targets, and with Mason Rudolph starting against Indianapolis, a respectable stat line is possible. The Colts allow TEs the third-most FFPG.

Week 16 Defenses to Stream: Cincinnati (vs. Cleveland), Indianapolis (vs. Tennessee), Tampa Bay (vs. Dallas), Atlanta (vs. New York Giants)
