Kylie Kelce and Charissa Thompson Remember ‘Dropping It Like It’s Hot’ and ‘TMI-ing’ on Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour: ‘My Kind of People’

Kylie Kelce and sports commentator Charissa Thompson reflected on attending her first Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert with Jason Kelce in June.

Kylie, 32, spoke about attending the London concert on I won’t lie podcast, noting that it was “the first time” she and Thompson, 42, were able to spend time together.

During the conversation, they talked about the “magical” experience and how they immediately bonded in the VIP tent. Thompson joked that she knew she and Kelce would be close when they took a trip to the bathroom and chatted across the restrooms.

“I was like, ‘Kylie, you’re amazing, as advertised,'” Thompson joked. “It plays a big part in the idea of meeting people and just doing TMI right from the start,” Kelce added of their first interaction. “Because then you know you are that safe place. I could say whatever I want.”

At one point, Kelce joked that she’ll never forget Thompson “dropping it like it was hot while Mr. Swift walked into the (VIP) tent.” Thompson then recalled feeling so comfortable in the moment that she ended up slapping actress Leslie Mann.

“She turned around and I said, ‘I’m so sorry,'” Thompson recalled of her interaction with the actress. “She says, ‘This can’t be happening.’ And I thought, ‘Great, I’m with my people.'”

“Don’t take me to a Taylor Swift concert if you don’t want me to have a good time,” Thompson continued.

Kelce added to that sentiment, saying she was glad they “got to experience our first Eras Tour show together” and that “we can capture this experience together.”

“There’s nothing like it,” Thompson continued. “There is no place that brings as much joy as this experience. In a stadium with 100,000 spectators all experiencing the same thing, it’s just magical.”

Kylie then praised the “simple concept of bracelet trading” and called it a “connected experience for everyone there,” especially Jason. During the Eras Tour, fans saw Jason exchanging friendship bracelets with others and ending up with an armful of bracelets.

Kylie revealed that at the end of the night, “Jason lost his circulation (and) his hands were purple.”

Thompson added that experiencing the Eras Tour was “even better than I thought” and noted that she will “probably never experience anything like it again.”

“(At) football games, there are disagreements in the stadium because you root for a team,” she continued. “This is the only place where you can be with so many people, all committed to the same person with the same interests, just to have fun and enjoy. So good for you, Sister Taylor. I don’t know if what she did can ever be done again.
