Leaked SUPERMAN Footage Reveals New Look at the Engineer and Ultraman; James Gunn talks post-credits plans

The first teaser trailer for Superman dominated the news cycle today, but we’re not done yet. The sneak peek is currently showing in cinemas Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and contains scenes that were not included in the version released online.

Below is an impressive shot of Mister Terrific and another showing Lex Luthor (wearing sunglasses) flanked by Ultraman and The Engineer. The latter two characters only made a fleeting appearance in the online trailer, so we’re hoping to get a clearer picture of them soon.

While the Superman Although the trailer doesn’t premiere before a major new Warner Bros. title, this is a fun treat for fans heading to their local multiplexes this weekend.

It’s also easy to imagine DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn pushing for this; Finally, there may be other variants of the teaser!

At the recent press event for SupermanGunn was asked if the first DCU film will feature a post-credits scene. “If you look at my end credits scenes in the Marvel movies, I was kidding myself one time when I put Adam Warlock in it because then I was like, ‘Oh shit, now I have to put Adam Warlock in it.’ the next film; who was really a pain in the ass,” he explained.

“So I’m not going to build entire universes with end credits scenes.” continued the filmmaker. “I love showing end credits scenes to an audience that’s watching the whole credits roll, but I’d rather it be something that’s fun for the fans and not necessarily, ‘Hey, we’re setting up the whole next part of the universe before!'”

That’s a fair point, although it would shock us a little if Superman nor does anything to set the stage for it Lanterns or Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.
