She also revealed how she was comforted after those intense moments. “So they were there to witness some of it, but then we would hug or they would bring me cups of tea,” she added.

Isn’t that so sweet? I love how they saw her pain and decided to cheer her up with hugs and a cup of tea instead of just ignoring it or feeling weird about it. We’re big fans of mothers who are honest with their children and show their feelings – even the hard ones! – and we love how positive this has been for Jolie and her sons.

Another lesson this movie taught her sons? How important it is to work hard to get what you want. Jolie told the outlet that Pax recorded her singing exercises for the film, “so he was with me in my early terrible days,” she said, laughing.

“It’s always good for your kids to see your mom not just do something but curse and fight and fail and have to try again,” Jolie continued. “So this is an important and beautiful thing.”

In an interview on Good morning America Last month, Jolie opened up about how important motherhood is to her. “It’s my luck,” said the humanitarian. “You can take everything else away from me. Nothing else matters.”

She also talked about her character in Mary and how she can identify with it. “There are obvious things that people connect to our lives and that we see as similarities,” Jolie said. “But I think it’s more about how hard she is on herself in her work, sometimes seen as strong but actually very vulnerable and human. I definitely am.”

Angelina Jolie is a mother of six – and the way she loves her children is adorable!
