Steph Curry and Draymond Green failed to make a field goal in the same game for the first time in their careers as the Golden State Warriors fell 144-93 to the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday.

The Grizzlies’ 51-point winning margin is the largest in the NBA this season, with the team also setting a franchise record with 27 three-pointers.

Curry managed just two free throws all night and finished with two points on 0 of 7 shooting, including 0 of 6 from three-point range, while Green finished with zero points, shooting 0 of 4.

“First time for anything, right?” Curry said, according to ESPN. “I never thought that would be a situation or an outcome of the game.

“From the first moment they gave us a punch in the mouth. We had no answer. That was kind of embarrassing.”

When told of his and Curry’s stats, Green responded, “Damn, did that happen?” Oh shit. That’s crazy…they did a good job. Give them some credit.”

The Warriors are now slipping down the table. After starting the season 12-3, they have now lost nine of their last 11 games and fall to 14-12 and 10th place in the Western Conference.

Dennis Schroder struggled in his first game for the Warriors since being acquired from the Brooklyn Nets in a trade, finishing the game with five points on 2 of 12 shooting.

“It was a humbling night all around,” Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said, according to ESPN. “I mean, they brought it to us. They were great. We just couldn’t get anything going.

“You lose by 51. It’s humiliating. So what I know about this team is that this is the second time we’ve been knocked out. We suffered a loss in Cleveland early in the season, so I know who we are.

Memphis recorded the most wins in the NBA this season.

“I know what our team is about. I know we have competitors. I know we’ll bounce back and regroup, so I’m not worried about that. But we still have a lot of work to do to make it happen.”

The Grizzlies, on the other hand, are rising in the rankings with 11 wins from their last 13 games and are now number 2 in the West.

Santi Aldama led the Grizzlies with 21 points, 14 rebounds and four assists. Six Grizzlies players finished in double figures, but Ja Morant only scored nine points.

Karl-Anthony Towns received a standing ovation in his first appearance in Minnesota since moving from the Timberwolves to the New York Knicks – and then began dismantling his former team.

The Knicks – and Towns in particular – were completely dominant, earning a 133-107 victory.

Towns, who Minnesota selected No. 1 overall in 2015, finished the game with 32 points on an absurdly efficient 10-of-12 shooting night – including all five of his three-point attempts – and had 20 rebounds, six Assists and two steals.

Mikal Bridges had 29 points, six rebounds and six assists for the Knicks, who have won seven of their last nine games to climb to third place in the Eastern Conference.

Julius Randle, who went from the Knicks to Minnesota in the same trade, scored a team-high 24 points for the 14-12 Timberwolves.

Victor Wembanyama scored 42 points as the San Antonio Spurs cruised to a 133-126 overtime win over the Atlanta Hawks.

It was another all-around night for the French phenom, who also tallied six rebounds, five assists, four blocks and two steals.

In just his second season in the league, Wembanyama is already averaging 24.5 points, 10.1 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 3.5 blocks per game.

De’Andre Hunter scored a team-high 27 points for the Hawks, while Trae Young had 23 points and 16 assists.
