Disney+'s Marvel comeback starts here - the highly anticipated new show looks great

A trio of promotional images for Disney+ Daredevil: Reborn have appeared online.

The series will feature a return to the adult version of the character, with Charlie Cox set to reprise the role in March 2025.

We’re not entirely sure what went wrong at Marvel when it comes to MCU TV shows, but it certainly went wrong.

As good as some of the newer series are, they haven’t managed to reach the critical highs of series like WandaVision, Hawkeye and the first season of Loki. And even they probably didn’t inspire as much joy as the Netflix debuts Daredevil And Jessica Jones.

In fact, it is one of the latter that Marvel Studios and Disney+ are betting on to reinvigorate the concept of the streaming service. Daredevil is set to return in all its adult-rated glory, and judging by the first official footage, we think the television MCU could be back on track.

The three promotional images, posted exclusively by Entertainment Weekly, show the original cast returning in glorious fashion – not least Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin and Charlie Cox’s eponymous Daredevil.

Fans will also be thrilled to know that the original Netflix show forms the foundation for this Daredevil: Reborn. The new showrunner, Dario Scardapane, told EW that he will share some of his legacy but also bring something new to the table: “The real trick was to take the DNA of the old Netflix show, but then bring it in “to develop something completely new,” he said.

It will also retain the 18+ rating, with Disney making the bold decision to return the character to his darker roots rather than continuing the toned down version seen in such films She-Hulk: Lawyer.

The show will premiere on March 4, 2025, so we expect to see a follow-up trailer soon. You can be sure that we will have this available to you as soon as it is released.
