Schedule, dates, TV channels, websites for the 2024-25 College Football Playoff

Here is the 2024-25 College Football Playoff schedule. This season marks the first year the CFP has used a 12-team format. The lineup was announced on Sunday, December 8th. No. 7 Notre Dame hosts No. 10 Indiana in the first round on Friday night.

The games are scheduled from December 20, 2024 to January 20, 2025, with the first round taking place from December 20 to 21 and the quarterfinals from December 31 to January 20. 1, semifinals on January 9th and 10th and finally the CFP National Championship Game on Monday, January 20th, 2025 in Atlanta. 2023-24 College Football Playoff Scores and Results

The Michigan Wolverines defeated one of the most efficient offenses in college football and completed their perfect season at 15-0, winning their first football national title since 1997. Michigan defeated Washington 34-13 in the 2023-24 CFP National Championship Game.

Michigan QB JJ McCarthy showed off both his arms and legs as he threw for 140 yards in the third quarter and had his longest carry of the entire season with 22 yards. With a key interception in the third quarter, defensive back Will Johnson was named Defensive MVP. Blake Corum wore the same jersey number as Johnson (No. 2) and was named offensive MVP after recording 134 rushing yards. He also added two rushing touchdowns, making 58 for his career, a school record. During the trophy ceremony, he concluded by saying, “The deal is done.”

In his ninth season at the helm of his alma mater, Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh won his first national championship with the Wolverines. The game capped the College Football Playoff’s ten-year, four-team stretch, with the playoffs expanded to twelve teams for the 2024–25 season.
