Top Ohio players not playing in the Cure Bowl

Thanks to the CFN Bowl Game Opt-Out Tracker, we know which Bobcats players will not play in the Cure Bowl. However, this time we don’t even need to use the opt-out tracker for OU.

As surprising as it may sound, the Bobcats haven’t seen a single player enter the transfer portal since head coach Tim Albin took over the Charlotte 49ers. In fact, Ohio appears to be at full strength for the Cure Bowl, as there was no public announcement that players would be opting out of the game.

In terms of injuries, the Bobcats shouldn’t be any different than the team that won the MAC Championship just two weeks earlier.

S Jeremiah Wood, WR Delaney Crawford and TE Nick Segarra are likely out, but have not recorded meaningful playing time or any stats in general this season. Despite not having a head coach, the Bobcats appear to be at full strength against the Gamecocks.
