Twin Cities Road Conditions: Slick roads Friday morning

Roads in the Twin Cities metro area are slick Friday morning following Thursday’s snowfall.

Smooth morning commute after a snowy Thursday

What we know: The Twin Cities metro received several inches of snow Thursday, and some roads are still a bit slippery for the Friday morning commute.

The roads look better than they did during Thursday morning’s drive, but slippery patches are still proving to be a problem. During the 6 a.m. hour, several incidents were reported on Twin Cities streets, including vehicles skidding.

On the Minnesota Department of Transportation website, most major roads in the Twin Cities are listed as “normal” or partially covered in snow.
