A, it’s not a department. B, it’s run by two billionaires, people who have no idea how important basic government services like Medicaid, Social Security and veterans benefits are to regular people. But there are many Democrats who openly say: I want to work with them, I want to sit down with this group. That gives The appearance that this is anything other than either just a TV show or an attempt by the billionaire class to privatize government for their own benefit would be self-evident, because all Donald Trump has shown us is that he wants to monetize his power for the good himself and his friends.

So yeah, as far as nominations go, I don’t think enough Democrats are sounding the alarm about this government efficiency scam. And when normal people see that the Democrats see all this as normal, they start to believe that it is normal. This is not normal and we need to start making people realize this.

Sargent: One hundred percent. It seems to me that the current understanding of the Democratic Party is deeply problematic. Democrats seem to believe that discussing these things won’t really reach voters because Trump won despite their warnings about the threat Trump poses to the system. According to the Democrats, the only thing it achieves are promises for the economy. But Senator, the Democrats can’t use that as an excuse not to communicate with voters about what Trump is actually doing to threaten the system, right? If the party takes a loud, united stance against the profound unfitness of these candidates, might not that noise and warnings lead voters to focus on Trump’s lawlessness and worry them about what is happening?
