Lawyer for Diddy and Jay-Z’s accusers allegedly accused woman of having sexually transmitted disease, but says it’s a ‘conspiracy’

Tony Buzbee, the attorney representing several of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ accusers and one of Jay-Z’s sexual assault accusers, has been accused in a new lawsuit of giving a woman an unknown sexually transmitted infection.

In response, Buzbee called the lawsuit part of a “conspiracy” to “discredit” and “intimidate” him.

The lawsuit was filed on Thursday, December 19, in New York Supreme Court by a woman who identified herself as Jane Doe. She claimed to have met Buzbee online in 2018. She claims the two had dinner and saw a show in Houston before Buzbee booked a room at a five-star hotel, according to the filing reviewed by PEOPLE.

Doe claimed in court documents that the two had sexual intercourse and that Buzbee allegedly did not tell her that he had a sexually transmitted disease. The illness is not disclosed in her file.

The accuser claims that after their encounter, she began “feeling unpleasant sensations in her groin” and called her doctor. After the test, Doe claims her doctor confirmed she had a sexually transmitted disease.

She claimed that when she told Buzbee about her diagnosis, he didn’t seem shocked and reportedly apologized. Doe claimed Buzbee knew he had the sexually transmitted disease, but asked her not to tell anyone about her positive test result. Buzbee then allegedly offered to give the woman free legal advice in return for her silence.

Doe alleges in her lawsuit that she allegedly continued to have sexual intercourse with Buzbee after her diagnosis and the two often traveled together to places such as New York City, where Buzbee owns property, and Panama.

During a trip to NYC, the woman said she and Buzbee were at a bar when Buzbee allegedly shoved a champagne flute in her face.

Doe claims she has evidence of the champagne flute incident through medical and dental records, as well as a chipped tooth.

Later in the lawsuit, Doe says she accepted Buzbee’s offer and asked him to represent her in her 2021 divorce case. She claims that Buzbee, when he was her attorney, manipulated medical records to make it appear as if Doe’s estranged husband, not Buzbee, infected her with the sexually transmitted disease. Doe claims Buzbee then pressured her to settle the divorce quickly and without discovery so that no one would know that Buzbee had infected her and tampered with the documents.

Doe is suing Buzbee for legal malpractice, breach of justice, breach of fiduciary duty, fraudulent misrepresentation and tortious interference.

Buzbee has vehemently denied the allegations, telling PEOPLE the lawsuit is “frivolous, ridiculous and ridiculous and will be dismissed like the others.”

Buzbee is currently representing several people who have accused Combs of sexual assault. Earlier this month, a client of Buzbee named Diddy and Jay-Z filed a lawsuit accusing the two men of sexually assaulting her in 2003. The woman said she was 13 years old at the time of the alleged assault.

“The conspiracy to discredit me and intimidate me from pursuing claims in the Diddy litigation has become criminal,” Buzbee added in his statement to PEOPLE. “It now seems that every other day there is another false claim filed, all amassed by individuals working on behalf of or in association with Roc Nation.”

Buzbee added that this particular case had “no substantive merit whatsoever” and that the attorney representing Doe “demanded” him for $20 million before filing and allegedly warned Buzbee that it would “ruin his reputation.” if he doesn’t pay.

“We will not just sit back and allow this crime to continue. We have reported this behavior to the appropriate legal authorities,” Buzbee continued. “And we will sue those behind it to put an end to this egregious behavior once and for all.”

Jay-Z’s entertainment company Roc Nation apparently referenced the latest news on Instagram. In a statement that was deleted and reposted several times, Roc Nation claimed that Buzbee blamed it “for its legal troubles.”

“God is behind the sunlight you keep referring to. We are not the source of every sunlight you get,” the statement added in part, ending with “Shameful.”
