But back to the whole “really surprised your SO with an epic party that celebrates every version of you” thing: Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce apparently pulled off exactly that feat on Wednesday night when he hit her up with an Eras Tour wrap party in Kansas City surprised .

According to Swift’s friend, stylist and designer Ashley Avignone, who was on the party’s guest list, the evening started with a lie. In the caption to an Instagram post full of seriously awesome party pictures, Avignone revealed that the “Fortnight” singer was completely in the dark about the Eras tour party and that Kelce apparently convinced her that they were just going out for a relaxing dinner .

“When she thought she was going to a small, quiet dinner, it was actually a huge surprise party with her friends and family, props included 🥳,” Avignone wrote.

The party was entirely themed “eras,” and guests dressed in outfits inspired by different eras and even specific moments (ahem, looking at you, Partick-Mahomes-dressed-as-Travis-Kelce- on stage at the Eras tour in London) and Swift’s look was fittingly very good Call-coded (although by all accounts she was genuinely surprised by the party’s very existence).

While the Eras tour wrap party was obviously a success, Swift is reportedly ready to embrace the “simple life” for a while in her post-Eras era.
