He also appeared to be weighing his options and hinted that history might not repeat itself, even calling it his “last hurray.”

In a nostalgic outburst with his brother Jason Kelce on the Dec. 18 episode of the New Heights podcast, the 35-year-old NFL star admitted, “It felt so surreal. I don’t know if it’s the last time I’ll ever play in Cleveland, but somehow it felt like I was giving one last hurray before I’m done because as you know, in 12 years I’ve only Played there twice.” Assessing the NFL’s future calendar, he added: “If we don’t get thrown in there in the next couple of years, I can’t really imagine if that will ever happen again.”

As with previous claims from the Chiefs athlete, the insider hinted that it might be better for him to pursue his thoughts of retirement sooner rather than later. “He knows his body can no longer take the pain he endures in the NFL, and that will be Taylor’s gain.”
