ForbesToday’s NYT “Connections” tips and answers for November 28th

Hello bargain hunters! It’s Black Friday, which means you might be looking for great deals. I’ve already bought quite a few things on sale, so I probably won’t buy anything else unless I find a great discount.

One thing I’ve picked up is the virtual reality headset for PlayStation 5. I’m sad that I’m not having much fun with it so far.

I haven’t figured out how to place it on my head so the image isn’t blurry while I have my glasses on. I also encountered a bug that created a VR version of Trombone Championa game I really wanted to try, unplayable. I’m sticking with the PS VR2 for a while, but I’m already close to returning it. That’s how it works.

Today NYT Connections Hints and answers for Friday, November 29th will follow soon.

How to play connections

Connections is a free, popular one New York Times daily pun. You will receive a new puzzle every day at midnight. You can play on that NYT Website or gaming app.

You will be presented with a grid of 16 words. Your task is to divide them into four groups of four by finding out the connections between them. The groups can be items you can click on, names of research participants, or words preceded by a body part.

Each puzzle has only one solution, and you have to be careful when it comes to words that could fit into more than one category. You can mix up the words to perhaps better see the connections between them.

Each group is color coded. The yellow group is usually the easiest to understand, blue and green are in the middle, and the purple group is usually the most difficult. The purple group often contains puns.

Select four words that you think go together and click Send. If you guess and are wrong, you lose a life. When you’re close to finding the right group, you may see a message saying you’re one word away from the right group, but you still need to figure out which word to swap.

If you make four mistakes, the game is over. Let’s make sure that this doesn’t happen with the help of some tips, and if you really find it difficult, even with today’s ones Connections Answer. Like with Wordle and other similar games, it’s easy to share results with your friends on social media and group chats.

If you have one NYT You can access the publications with the All Access or Games subscription Connections Archive. This includes every previous game from Connectionsso you can go back and play any songs you missed.

Aside from the first 60 or so games, you should be able to find my clues for each grid via Google if you need to! Simply click here and enter the date of the game for which you need hints or answers to the search query.

This is your final warning!

Today Connections Answers are…

  • Yellow Group – Companies (ENDEAVOR, ENTERPRISE, PROJECT, VENTURE)
  • Green Group – Units (HERTZ, MOLE, SECOND, VOLTS)
  • Blue Group – MLB Team Member (NATIONAL, RAY, TIGER, TWIN)
  • Purple Group – first words of the HBO shows (BOARDWALK, CURB, GAME, SILICON)

It’s not a perfect game today, but I’m happy to have two wins in a row. This is what happened to me:

I thought that ENDEAVOR, ENTERPRISE, NATIONAL and HERTZ would form a group of car rental companies, but no! When I realized I was being bothered by a red herring, I swapped the latter two for the yellow ones.

I had a feeling for TWIN and TIGER and it took a moment of staring at them for the connection to click. RAY was an easy addition, but I had to dig through my memories to remember the existence of the Washington Nationals (the others are the Tampa Bay Rays, Detroit Tigers and Minnesota Twins).

I had a guess that BOARDWALK was referring to Boardwalk Empirebut instead of considering other HBO shows, I focused on figuring out what I thought the Greens were. Obviously HERTZ and VOLT make sense together as measurement types, as does SECOND. I kind of thought GAME would fit in with that.

So I guessed that what I thought was the purples (including MOLE) and I was one away. That’s when I realized what was going on, so I got the purples and then the greens, securing my second win in a row.

For the record, the shows referenced are Boardwalk Empire, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Game of Thrones And Silicon Valley. My note referred to this Band of Brothers, True Detective, True Blood And Six feet under.

A MOLE, on the other hand, measures a number of molecules or atoms. I learned something new today.

That’s all for today Connections Hints and answers. Be sure to check out my blog for tips and the solution for Saturday’s game if you need them.

PS: There sure are a lot of great theme songs for HBO shows. The of The Last of Us, Game of Thrones and season one of The wire are personal favorites. But let’s continue with the of True blood. It was a perfect fit for this show.
