Lainey Wilson sent NFL fans crazy when she handed out a Thanksgiving treat during halftime of the Dallas Cowboys game on Thursday.

The country star performed the halftime show at AT&T Stadium as the Cowboys continued their Thanksgiving tradition with a division rivalry showdown against the New York Giants.

The singer-songwriter impressed in an all-white outfit, complete with a white cowboy hat, alongside the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.

After strolling onto the field in Arlington, Texas to open the show with her hit “Heart Like A Truck,” she enlisted the help of Jelly Roll to perform her duet “Save Me.”

The star-studded performance caught the attention of NFL fans, with many demanding a repeat performance – at this year’s Super Bowl.

“Cancel the current Super Bowl halftime show and book Lainey, Now,” one fan shared on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Another echoed this sentiment, posting: ‘Next stop? A Super Bowl!’

‘Wow. @laineywilson just ruins halftime. And oh my god. @JellyRoll615 This is better than most Super Bowl shows. And not with me,” a third chimed in.

A fourth added: “This Cowboys and Giants football game halftime show with Lainey Wilson is worthy of a Superbowl halftime. ‘Great job with Jelly Roll!’

The NFL announced back in September that Kendrick Lamar would provide halftime entertainment in New Orleans in February.

However, Wilson may have a chance at the Super Bowl spotlight in the future as the rave reviews for her halftime performance continued to pour in.

“Lainey Wilson was the best Thanksgiving halftime show of this generation,” one fan gushed.

Another event wrote a lengthy review praising the performance, saying, “Lainey put on a stunning performance, getting the timing right with the cheerleaders, who had perfect choreography, and with the country star.” I thought it was great as Lainey took off her jacket to add some oomph to the song. “Jelly Roll was great as always with Lainey and was the dessert to the wonderful main course.”

“I just have to say, @laineywilson absolutely COOKED this #Thanksgiving halftime show,” a third posted.

“After tonight I’m officially a Lainey Wilson fan,” said a fourth, while another claimed, “Well this is the first NFL halftime show that’s entertained me in years!” Lainey Wilson.”

Another sent a message to the league, posting: “Dear @NFL, this is how you do a halftime show!!!” Stylish and entertaining! Keep it up @laineywilson!!!’

A couple took the opportunity to take a dig at the Cowboys’ miserable 5-7 season, with one writing, “Probably the best performance I’ve seen from the Cowboys in a long time, honestly,” while another added : “Dallas Cowboys may not play.” Football like Detroit, but the halftime show in Dallas was awesome!! Lainey Wilson brought the house down!!’

Others also praised Wilson’s partnership with the legendary Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, who gained even more notoriety earlier this year thanks to the Netflix series.

“Lainey Wilson and the Cowboys cheerleaders are exactly what America needed #WeAreBack; one user posted.

“So @laineywilson and the @dallascowboys cheerleaders are the combination we never knew we needed,” wrote another.

After Wilson’s halftime performance, the action continued on the field as the Giants’ disastrous season reached a new height and they became the first NFL team to be officially eliminated from the playoffs.

Brian Daboll’s woeful team was condemned to its seventh straight defeat by the Dallas Cowboys, who compounded their misery after emerging victorious 27-20 at AT&T Stadium.
