Tyson Fury storming out of ring after Oleksandr Usyk defeat blamed for ‘disrespectful act’

Carl Frampton believes Tyson Fury stormed out of the ring after his loss to Oleksandr Usyk because of Daniel Dubois.

Fury lost by unanimous decision in Saudi Arabia on Saturday evening, with the 36-year-old suffering the second professional defeat of his career.

The Gypsy King performed better than in his first fight in May, which he lost via split decision.

But it was Usyk who emerged victorious, with the 37-year-old maintaining his 100 percent record as a professional in the process.

After the showdown at Kingdom Arena, a dejected Fury decided to leave the ring without giving his verdict.

Dubois entered the arena with the Brit calling on Usyk for a rematch – after losing to the veteran last year.

Still, speaking on TNT Sports, Frampton believes the 27-year-old was the reason Fury didn’t stick around.

He expressed the belief that Dubois’ behavior was “disrespectful” – especially given that the fight had ended just minutes earlier.

While Fury avoided the post-fight interview, he did speak at a press conference.

And the heavyweight star admitted he was frustrated with the result and accused the judges of giving Usyk a “Christmas present”.

“The judges gave him a Christmas present,” he complained.

“I feel like I won both fights. I know I had to knock him out, but boxing and stuff like that happen. I have no doubt that I won this fight.”
