Diljit Dosanjh responds to AP Dhillon’s Instagram blocking allegation: ‘My problems could be with the government…’ | Bollywood News

The ongoing dispute between singer and rapper AP Dhillon and Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh took center stage during Dhillon’s Chandigarh concert. Dhillon cheekily asked the Hass Hass singer to unblock him on Instagram, a comment that came days after Diljit extended warm wishes to Dhillon and fellow singer Karan Aujla at his Indore concert.

During the Indore leg of his Dil-Luminati India Tour, Diljit congratulated the two artistes and said, “Just one more tour, Shuru Kiya Hai Karan Aujla from AP Dhillon no, I wish you the best of luck (Two of my brothers, Karan Aujla and AP Dhillon, have started their tour; I wish them good luck too.)”

However, AP Dhillon seemed to hint at an underlying tension. Addressing the audience in Chandigarh, he remarked, “I just want to say one little thing, brother. First unblock me on Instagram and then talk to me (with Diljit Dosanjh). I don’t want to talk about what’s happening in marketing, but first unblock me. I have been working for three years. Have you ever seen me in a controversy?”

Diljit Dosanjh quickly responded on Instagram and denied any hostility. In Punjabi, he wrote: “I never blocked you. Mere pange sarkaaran naal ho sakde aa….kalaakaran naal ni (My problems might be with the government…not the artists).”

This exchange comes against the backdrop of Diljit Dosanjh’s turbulent relationship with the state authorities during his ongoing journey. In Telangana, he was banned from performing songs promoting alcohol, drugs or violence at his concert. The organizers of his Chandigarh concert also received a notice for exceeding noise limits. At the event in Chandigarh on December 14, Diljit also expressed his frustration with India’s concert infrastructure and stated that he would not perform in the country again unless proper facilities were ensured.

Meanwhile, AP Dhillon concluded the Brownprint Tour on December 21 in Chandigarh. He also performed in New Delhi and Mumbai.
