As always, Ronaldo has been productive this season – scoring nine goals in eleven league appearances so far.

Al-Nassr’s win means they keep the pressure on Al-Ittihad and Al-Hilal, the two teams above them in the table.

Al-Ittihad is currently five points ahead of Al-Nassr and two points ahead of Al-Hilal.

Al-Ittihad are in action on Saturday when they take on Steven Gerrard’s Al-Ettifaq away from home. Meanwhile, Al-Hilal travels to take on Al-Shabab.

Next up for Al-Nassr is a home game against Al-Sadd in the AFC Champions League.

Ronaldo is keen to end his long wait for a league title as his last such trophy came in the 2019/20 season when he won Serie A with Juventus.
